Pozi are and wait for it…they might be a post punk band but they have no guitars! Instead drums, bass and a sweeping violin makes up this London 3 piece of Toby, Tom and Rosa. On paper and on record it sounds fantastic and live it sounds even more wonderful. Their mournful tales of urban disenchantment are played with a verve that can be slow one minute and then frantic and frenetic the next! Taking their influences from the likes of PIL, Devo and Television, Pozi write great observational and intelligent songs. Clash magazine described the album as with one of the highlights being Doggers which they said sounded like a Dalek having an aneurysm. Any band who can make a track like that must be worth watch. Very Pozi-tive!
